4.8 Rebranding
Images in AutoNOC can be rebranded to show customer specific logos and other information. To override AutoNOC's built-in images create a directory under the AutoNOC root called customize/ (usually /usr/local/autonoc/customize/ on Linux and C:\AutoNOC\Customize\ on Windows).

Simply copy your new images into this folder and restart the service. AutoNOC will detect and integrate the new images within the GUI.

4.8.1 Image Format
All images displayed within AutoNOC are stored in the Portable Network Graphics (PNG) file format. Your replacement images must be stored as full 24-bit, non-interlaced, standard format PNG.

AutoNOC will remaster your image when starting up. This includes customizing the images so that they blend in with the rest of the GUI. AutoNOC also does this to create multiple images for selected and unselected states, for instance. AutoNOC uses the exact color R:255 G:1 B:255 as the mask for transparency in the images. This color is very close to purple. Any transparent areas in your images should utilize this color.

4.8.2 Common Images to Rebrand
The most commonly rebranded images are listed here:

favicon.ico Icon shown in corner of user's web browser.
world.png Image of the planet.
logo.png Logo in top right hand corner of GUI.
logon_bgnd.png Tiled background of logon screen.
logon_logo.png Logo near username / password setting.
